First Post of 2026!

 

Happy New Year!

Amazing that January has already come and gone. 

We have had an amazing month spent hanging out with great friends, relaxing some, working some, and eating way too much!

We rang in the New Year playing a fun D&D adventure, lead by our friend Andrew. Almost lost two characters! But alas -we triumphed. 

We’ve had some beautiful sunsets, enjoyed our fire pit and BBQ and got an amazing Aurora - still couldn’t really see it with the naked  eye. But Eric got some nice shots. 

The flowers have continued to bloomed and have fought valiantly against the wild winds.

We also enjoyed a group gathering to watch the final episode of Stranger Things. Lots of discussions and various views, but we really loved it and are happy with the conclusion. 

Watched several other shows and films as well. I recently enjoyed a girls night out to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Labyrinth on the big screen. So much fun!

And we sadly enjoyed our last chocolate cake at The Chocolate Fish the day before it closed. 

And of course, the Kitties continue to be adorable and mischievous!

February is going to fly by as well. It is already naturally a shorter month. We are hosting some family from the states and looking forward to sharing some of our favorite places with them.
